About Mark the Electrician

Mark the Electrician doesn’t believe in flashy logos, or impressing people with acronyms. He drives a trusty little white van with mud on the tyres and an array of useful ‘things he might need’ on the dashboard.┬áHe takes time to understand what you require before quoting or starting a job, and he’ll come and have a chat for free.

He believes that electrics should be safe, and customers should understand what he is doing, and why. So everything will be agreed up-front, on either a ‘per-job’ or a ‘per-hour’ rate – whichever you prefer.

He usually gets a terrible night’s sleep because he’s on-call 24 hours a day to respond to electrical emergencies, but his wife is very understanding and she quite likes his ringtone.

Mark invests in keeping his electrical qualifications up to date, and isn’t shy about calling the British Standards to ensure that components you may want to specify for your job are suitable and safe. He’s more that happy to work with you if you want to install some heritage or specialist lighting, or fancy sockets here and there.

And when he’s not wielding a screwdriver, Mark loves to get out on his mountain bike in the Shropshire Hills, or over in Wales for the day.
